Event Overview
Widely recognised as Asia's premier defence summit, the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue is a unique meeting where ministers debate the region’s most pressing security challenges, engage in important bilateral talks and come up with fresh approaches together. The next summit will take place in Singapore on 29–31 May 2026.
The Dialogue enables decision-makers from across the Asia-Pacific, North America, Europe, the Middle East and beyond to gather together to discuss the most pressing regional security issues and to share policy responses. It features plenary debates led by government ministers, as well as important opportunities for bilateral discussions among delegations.
