City & Financial Global
View AgencyCity & Financial Global is an independent, research-based conference organiser which specialises in the financial and corporate markets. It organises between 40-50 high level events a year, covering a wide range of topics, in the UK, Europe, the US and Asia. It was founded by Maurice Button, who was previously an investment banker and management consultant, as well as the chairman of a political think-tank. Research for our programmes is undertaken by a team of well-qualified graduate and post-graduate researchers with degrees in relevant disciplines. The exceptional quality of our programmes attracts high calibre speakers, including government ministers, senior regulators, policy makers and the chief executives and main board directors of some of the world’s leading companies. We regularly work on a joint venture basis with national governments and their agencies. For instance, in the UK we have partnered with HM Treasury, the Bank of England, UK Trade and Investment, the National Audit Office, the Financial Conduct Authority and the Scottish Executive. Internationally, we have worked with most national governments in Europe, as well as the U.S. Government and governments in Asia. Our supranational partners have included the European Commission and the United Nations. Many of our events are supported through commercial sponsorship, which we use to subsidise ticket prices so that cost is not a barrier to attendance. Our sponsors have included many of the best-known names in the financial and corporate arena.
