Event Overview

The 2026 ABA Equity Summit — The Innovation Advantage: Leveraging Diversity, Equity & Inclusion — is a premier gathering of legal professionals focused on turning commitments of equity and fairness in the legal profession and justice system into measurable, future-ready impact. This dynamic two-day virtual event, hosted by the American Bar Association Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Center in coordination with the DEI Advisory Council, will highlight innovative approaches and practical strategies to remove barriers, expand opportunity, and strengthen fairness in both the legal profession and the justice system.

Equity Summit Goals:

  • Will provide insight and educational resources that help to promote a legal profession that is accessible and inclusive for all regardless of identity.
  • The Summit’s programming will elevate current initiatives that support diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as highlighting innovations that will support legal professionals into the future.
  • The Summit is an opportunity for ABA entities, bar associations, law firms, and other partners to work together more proactively in DEI.
