38th Annual Elder Law Institute

PLI’s Annual Elder Law Institute focuses on key issues for attorneys and allied professionals who represent elderly clients or clients with aging parents.

This year’s Institute will address the multifaceted practice of elder law, reviewing a range of aspects of aging faced by the elder law practitioner. Experienced practitioners will discuss fundamental and evolving issues such as Medicaid eligibility, Social Security benefits for seniors, assistance available to seniors with health insurance issues in New York State, collaboration with senior move managers, signs of dementia, and ethical issues that frequently arise in elder law practice.

While some of the segments of the Institute will highlight New York law and practice, the legal doctrines and strategies explored by the presenters will have relevance for practitioners in other jurisdictions.
